St. Thérèse Mission Rules and Regulations

The Columbarium is a solemn resting place for our dearly departed.

Please note the following rules and regulations:

1.     All ash remains shall be put in a suitable container duly approved by cemetery management before being placed in the niche

2.     No memorials, monuments, signs, inscriptions shall be installed without the prior written approval of the cemetery management.

3.     Not more that two (2) urns containing cremated remains may be placed in one niche.

4.     The columbarium will be open for visitation daily from Wednesday to Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. (Closes at 3:00 PM on Sundays)

5.     Different visiting hours may be posted by the cemetery management on special occasions and holidays.

6.     The Columbarium Office Hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM from Wednesday to Sunday and by appointment on arranged days.

7.     Silence is to be maintained at all times in the Columbarium.  Let us allow people to pray/reflect for their daily departed in a somber, respectful and solemn environment.

8.     The defamation of niches is strictly prohibited.  This means that candles, stickers, and other adhesives materials like tape, wire, etc… are not to be affixed onto the niche covers.

9.     No memorial, monuments, signs or inscriptions may be installed on the niche covers.  This is to maintain uniformity in the appearance of the niches.  Management may remove the aforementioned items and charge expenses related to such to the account of the Niche Owner or his/her assignee.

10.  Offering of Flowers or other arrangements (balloons, garlands, stuff toys, etc…) that have not been properly hung or securely attached to the niches by the columbarium maintenance staff is not allowed.

11.  Candles may only be offered at designated areas.

12.  Floral arrangements and or offerings left on the floor; hung dangling on the niches or placed on other areas of the Columbarium without Management approval shall not be allowed and shall be collected for disposal.

13.  Flower offerings/arrangements will be collected for disposal three (3) days after they have been offered.  Flower offerings that have expired or wilted before then shall also be collected for disposal.

14.  The Columbarium is a DEPOSITORY, not a cemetery.  As such chairs, benches, tables and tents are not to be brought into the Columbarium area.  The hallways of the Columbarium are to be kept free of obstruction at all times.

15.  Eating and drinking are prohibited at all times.  We appreciate your help in keeping the Columbarium and its premises clean and spotless.

16.  Smoking is prohibited at the Columbarium at all times.

17.  Please wear decent, appropriate clothing when visiting the Columbarium.  This is to maintain proper decorum within the Columbarium premises at all times.
